Columbia River Temple

This month, for our temple trip, we took the girls along so they could also have a temple experience. The Columbia River Temple is absolutely beautiful! It was pretty windy, so the girls had hair in their faces in a lot of the pictures we took. Before we went home, we stopped at a Dairy Queen and Miriam got her first real taste of fries - we've never really given them to her before.

Easter and Conference

Moses Lake hosted a community Easter Egg Hunt at McCosh park, and it was the first "big" hunt we've been to. Too bad it's over in less than 30 seconds after it starts!
Jenna was excited to start. She wanted a blue egg first!

The Easter Bunny did not disappoint this year. Jenna's new favorite toy is her little Tinkerbell doll. Miriam was quick to employ her new window crayons. And it's nice that her artwork stays off the walls!

We love bubbles at our house!

One of our favorite things to do - rough house on the couch!

Sisters

My girls sure love each other. Even when they don't......you know what I mean. These two can make each other laugh like no one else. Just this morning, they were chasing each other with a Tinkerbell pop-up laundry hamper and taking turns "catching the puppy" -each other - in it. It's the little moments that make life wonderful.
Ok, yes, I know that I am way behind. Such is life. Here's the update. Way back in March, Granny and Papa Russell came for their spring break. The weather was great while they were here and we went over to Leavenworth, WA. It's a little German town nestled up in the mountains. Definitely a tourist trap, and lots of fun. We went too early in the season for any of the bakeries to be open yet, but I'm sure that we'll be headed back sometime in the summer for those yummy treats. We went on lots of walks and had a picnic at Potholes State Park the next day.

Back At It!

So, it's been a while.  A long while.  An over 10 years while!  Why pick it back up again after ten years, you may ask?  Well, to be p...
