Let the Holidays begin!!!!! We kicked it off with some yummy treats for Jenna's Kindergarten class. I used the absolute BEST recipe for pumpkin bars I have ever had in my entire life. Thank you Katelyn Foutch! You can get the recipe here. We started with these mini cupcakes.......
And made them into these......
The girls were super excited to dress up this year. Well, mostly Jenna was super-excited, but it did rub off on Miriam. I'll give you one guess as to who Jenna dressed up as this year.....
Miriam really had no clue as to who Dorothy was, but she liked having "baids" in her hair and kept pointing them out to whoever would listen.

Red Sauce.....you know, catch up
I apologize now for the picture overload. I've been so behind, that this was the only way to catch up. So, since we closed on the house in June, we............
Went hiking at City of Rocks
Soaked in some sun.
Went to a wedding.
Said goodbye to one set of cousins.........
Only to say hello to another set of cousins..........
Had yummy spinach/grape/pineapple smoothies.
Jenna turned 5.
We visited the Seattle Aquarium.
Jenna had her first day of Kindergarten.
Stained and sealed the deck.
Took random pictures of our feet.
Enjoyed whole-wheat-mickey-mouse-chocolate-chip pancakes.
Miriam turned 2.
Made silly faces.
Miriam discovered that she was capable of opening the fridge AND the egg carton.
We made lots of crafts and drew lots of pictures.
Played with the dog.Got out the Halloween decorations.
And we're still going, going, going. I feel like I just got done singing "99 bottles of pop on the wall". Hopefully, the next post won't be so "all-inclusive".

Jenna Graduates from Preschool
Jenna is now an official Preschool Graduate! She keeps reminding us that she is a big "kindergardener" now. She was super cute in her little robe, which was huge on her, even though they don't come in a smaller size. Jenna also received the "most studious" award in her class. Jenna believes it is serious business when it comes to writing letters and numbers and doing her projects at school. Congratulations, Jenna!

Columbia River Temple
This month, for our temple trip, we took the girls along so they could also have a temple experience. The Columbia River Temple is absolutely beautiful! It was pretty windy, so the girls had hair in their faces in a lot of the pictures we took. Before we went home, we stopped at a Dairy Queen and Miriam got her first real taste of fries - we've never really given them to her before.
